Incredible Eggs – A Wonderful Easter Experience!

During Easter, Puddleduck Nursery welcomed Incredible Eggs, who provided an incubator and duck eggs, giving our children the incredible opportunity to witness the life cycle of a duck firsthand. The children eagerly watched the eggs as they developed and experienced the excitement of seeing the ducklings hatch and begin their lives.

Throughout the experience, the children learned about growth, life cycles and the needs of living things. Observing and learning how to care for the ducklings encouraged kindness, empathy, patience and a sense of responsibility. It also sparked curiosity, encouraged questions and supported early scientific thinking as the children explored the wonders of nature.

This hands-on experience supported the children's holistic development by encouraging communication, language, social interaction and emotional development, while creating meaningful opportunities for learning through real-life experiences.

At Puddleduck Nursery, we believe that these special experiences help children develop a deeper understanding of the natural world and the importance of treating all living things with care and respect.
